Delicious Girly Accessories

I LOVE the monthly challenges but have been super busy with a newborn. So This month is the first time in a LONG time that I felt I could participate. And yay for me, it's a food one!

I made this cake for my cousin's birthday. She's a girly girl so I thought this idea would be perfect. The purse is devil's food cake with mint buttercream and covered in marshmallow fondant. The shoe and lipstick are gumpaste so it makes everything edible!

I saw this thumbnail and thought, there is no way someone handmade a purse that nice, and then was TOTALLY mind blown when I saw this was a cake!

This is amazing! I thought this was a REAL purse, shoe, and lipstick before reading the description. I have no idea how to make a cake like this, so naturally I imagine it is hard or a long process . It also sounds good, by the way!

Thank you for all your nice comments. It took about 4 or 5 hours not including baking and making the marshmallow fondant.

Oh the detail!  This is really nice.  I would feel so special if anyone ever made me such a cake presentation for my birthday.
