Hello fellow Geminis & Cancers!

I will have been here a month on June 26, and I'm planning on signing up as soon as it comes around.  I turned 28 on the 13th, and I had to spend my whole birthday rnning errands!  Boo!

So, anyways, keep an eye out for me in 5ish days Smiley

Received the most phenomenal package from blupaisan!!!!!! We are decorating our living room in a nauticalish theme (think more inside of a ship/piratey sort of theme than lighthouses (boo!)

Anyhoo....I knew I was receiving wall art but I was unprepared for the total awesomeness the package contained!  She truly went above and beyond my wildest expectations!  I cannot express the amount of joy and glee this package  brought me.  My husband totally loved it as well, which is good, because it was going on the wall regardless of what he though!

blupaisan, if you have better pictures, feel free to post them as I was unable to fully capture all the wonderful nuances.   All of the little pictures on it are drawn beautifully.  I love the burn marks, the dirt, the candle drips, and the bloody thumbprint!  It came with this very entertaining letter.

"As you can see it has survived much such as a fire, candle drippings, dirt (probably from the time he (Captain Clark Thatcher from the good ship Nanny B. which now rests on the ocean bottom somewhere off Fiji) was buried alive and managed to get out) and the bloody thumbprint he left when he killed Black Bobby, the man who did the burying."

Wow! What a great map!

This isn't for this swap but it does relate and I had to share. I partnered with StickerChic87 for the latest IYP. She saw that I was in the b'day swap and decided to send me this fantastic package out of the blue!

What a sweetheart! Thank you for the complete surprise, StickerChic!

Welcome Jo! Smiley

Awesome work from blupaisan, and what a sweet surprise from Stickerchic!

I got very spoiled by skittlebub!! Grin We both love Dr Who!!!

She sent me a TARDIS plastic bag bag (very useful!), a sweet felt TARDIS needlebook, TARDIS buttons and a handcarved TARDIS stamp (<3 <3), wool yarn in one of my fave colours, AND she even drew me a Dalek!! She said several of these crafts are new skills for her (I wouldn't have guessed that),and I feel honoured to have them Smiley Thank you so much for a lovely birthday parcel!!
