My niece is graduating from High School and I crocheted this little penguin for her. I got the pattern from the Lion Brand site.  I added a tux tail for stability and sewed buttons for eyes.  I also made up a motarboard as I went.  My son took one look at it and said Cool, a graduating owl.  Sigh...

Here he is.  I think I'll let my niece decide what it is.

It's the amigurumi penguin.  I should have stuck to the colors on the pattern.  Now that I look at it,  it's really ugly!! yuck!!
