UGH....
THis swap is proving to be much harder than I anticipated! Especially having problems w/ the moving parts and hidden item. Can anyone give me some ideas of how to do these?
 Huh

I would recommend folding paper over things for the hidden item, and you can use a strong piece of thread to make an axis for bits to rotate around.

For the moving part I used a brad punched through the inchie to create something that can spin around.

ALERT! Inchie theif in my neighborhood!  Who the heck steals inchies?!  Off my hammock in my own back yard?/?  birds? raccoons?  at any rate, all 30 are gone!!  I will keep you posted on this truly bizarre mystery...

They must have been 30 exceptional inchies,.... that some animal just had to have!  Awww, that's terrible.  Hope you found out what happened to them.  But I would take it as a compliment.   Cheesy

For the hidden, I've made one with a pocket and one with flaps so far.
And as for the movable, I've thought about using flaps for one of those too, and used the brad idea for another that I have already done.  I can't wait to see how everyone else does theirs, though.

I got 5 done last night for a total of..... *drumroll* SIX!  This weekend will be pretty busy for me, but I'm hoping to have some inchie time later at night.  That's the way it usually works for me anyway!

Wow you are all inchie machines! I haven't made inchies before so I have been taking my time planning them (I hope that's the right thing to do) normally I'm quite spontaneous but I don't want to mess up. I hope to get started on them over the weekend and get them posted on their merry way to Canada asap!  Grin

Well done for posting already Coconutbells, you always put us all to shame.

I have had a bit of a think about the inchies, but haven't got much further than that yet. Just trying to finish a hoop for the ongoing hoopla swap first.

I should probably have stopped by sooner and let you know that I'm your scavenger hunt co-organiser. So Hi all participants in Nilmerg's groups (thats mostly those who asked for one partner). /wave!

Crafty Butterfly certainly has set us a chalange with this swap, but I'm sure you will all rise fantastically to the challenge! If you have any questions that you don't feel comfortable posting in the forum, then please pm either myself or crafty butterfly.

Wow, your inchies must be cool if the universe keeps finding ways to get you to make more  Wink
Sorry to hear about the high rate of disappearances, though.
