It's me again with another pair of shoes to which I have given some new lovin'  Cheesy Because it's so early in the morning here and I'm lazy, I'm copy/pasting my description in from an outside site, so sorry that it's boring and impersonal Sad I'll be ready to talk more tomorrow, but I'm so excited about these NOW

This pair of shoes was inspired by my love for reading and an old pair of shoes that I found at a thrift store. Designed around the idea of romance and intelligence, this shoe desires to be a part of your love story.

The base shoes I used are vintage CONNIE brand shoes. I do not know exactly when they were made but my guess (I know very little of vintage things) would be late 80's.

The book pages are sealed with a high gloss lacquer but are NOT waterproof. (I wouldn't trust it. Would you?)

Thanks for looking!

Ooh, ooh, I want to try this. Cheesy
What a great idea.

I might wear them: indoors, I think they'd be like some of my heels, taken in a bag to a venue, put on to walk in, sit down and then a quick trip to the loo to change back out of just before leaving.

Thanks! and I have many many many pairs of shoes like that hahaha. I would definitely prance around in these, but sadly, they do not fit me. Sad

I love the addition of pearls, they really make the look!
It's sad that they don't fit though =(

They're so fancy! I love these. Just out of curiosity, what book did you get the pages from?

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.

Given the few names I could see on the shoes, my guess would be It's In His Kiss by Julia Quinn...
Anyway, I would totally love to have those shoes... but I'm not sure I would dare to wear them  Grin

Spot on! The Bridgerton series is my favourite and I had a duplicate of that book. Smiley

I'm not sure I would have ever thought to do something like this, but I love the way they turned out
