My front yard is covered in those prickly stickers, it's absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to go outside in my yard without shoes.

Is there anything that will get them out of the yard so I can still plant new grass or other stuff in my yard.  I'd like it to permanently kill the stickers but not kill anything else I attempt to plant.  I own my house so I'd like to make it nice.  And be able to go out in my yard barefoot!

I'd rather do this myself and keep hiring someone as a last resort!  I have two big trees that shade my yard that I'd like to keep and not kill the roots on those as well.  I'd love to stick out a small table and chairs to be able to sit outside under the shade.

Any recommendations or tips or anything will be most appreciated!

A simple weed/feed product (granules) should do the trick. It won't harm your trees.  Be sure to weed/feed during the right times of the year. ....early Spring, Summer, then Fall.

I dig them out and dump in the trash....then I would seed for grass in their place.

If it's all over the place you might want to do it all in one go.
