It turned out great!  And, what fun and happy colors you picked!

I know that sitting in that chair and sewing is heaven for you, bongirl5!

Love it!

alwaysinmyroom - Thank you! It's funny you should say that. Just the other day, I was frazzled and working on some project, my neck killing me, and my patience pretty much at an end. I thought "shouldn't I be having more fun sewing in this AWESOME CHAIR?! Wasn't it supposed to inspire and relax me?" LOL! It was a very strange thought. People say sewing is relaxing, but I'd say it's more "engrossing". You definitely lose yourself and track of time in a good project, but relaxing? Kinda not, actually. Wink

ha ha I was trying to explain to a friend how I like sewing in the heat because it makes me feel like I am in a sweat shop...I get so involved...I agree---it is an intense experience for me but not relaxing...relaxing is being on the beach with nothing to do except close your eyes...Smiley

congrats on the chair making it to a featured project!!!! You know you rock!

I really love this.  You had a great vision here.  Particularly love the silver beading.  Big ups to your mom there.  Great job!

I get that a lot, actually. LOL! My last project, the garage-sailor pouch, got a couple of comments like "a bit busy for my taste, but cute!" I wasn't always a "more color!" person, but I've always admired how other people's crazier projects have come out, so I decided to be brave. Smiley I'm glad I did, because that chair makes me smile every day.
