Hi! This is my first post after being a long-time lurker! I just recently started trying to learn the art of papercutting, and I impressed myself with this one, so I had to post it!

It was a photo of m husband and I from our wedding that I edited and then cut out of a black sheet of paper:) What do you think? <3

That's awesome! I admire your patience! Did you edit the photo in Photoshop to get the contrast first? And how do you transfer the design to black paper?

Thanks! I don't have photoshop (I'm sure that would have made it easier!!) I cut everything out of the photo behind us and then made it black and white, I played with the contrast a lot and then went through and deleted all the sections of the photo that I didn't want showing... then I made sure all the black lines were connected. Took FOREVER! But then I printed it out and glued it to the back of the black paper and once I cut it, I peeled it off the black paper. Tongue
