I claim nilmerg for a Celtic hoop.

Send by June 24

(1,1,0)

Hiya everyone! I'm T! I live in Georgia (USA) with my husband and 2 kidlets. I'm a high school Spanish teacher who crafts to keep her sanity.

I am not picky about size nor shape of hoop that you may send me. I have tons of info about my likes/dislikes in my profile as well as So You Want to Swap? page on my blog. I'm the chatty type so if you have any questions, feel free to send me a quick PM!

PLEASE, no profanity or Day of the Dead stuff!

My Wist!

My Shiny New Pinterest!

My Themes
1. Celtic knotwork - pure knotwork, not zoomorphs (twisted animals/humans) which get kind of creepy

2. anything Japanese - My bathroom (done in taupe, cream and black accents) is decorated in a Japanese themes. Maybe something like a geisha, samurai, koi or kanji

3. something inspired by Hispanic cultures for decorating my classroom. For example, I already have a Flamenco dancer and a hoop with the Aztec sun god.   (Please no Day of the Dead stuff. My admins don't quite understand this concept so I have to be very careful about what I use.)

4. Nature - I LOVE trees and clouds, not so much into the cutesified animals though.

5. Garden gnomes - my newest addiction Smiley

6. Constellations - My favorite one is Orion, but I love all of them!

7. Mythological creatures - Pegasus, Dragon, Unicorn, Hydra

8. Something Pink, Sparkly and Princess for my daughter's room - She is 5 and quite the little Diva. She has claimed a couple of my latest hoops for her own little hoopla wall. (My DD is receiving one of these from last round, but I know she'd love more! Cheesy )

9. My favorite quote - "Be the change that you want to see in the World." - M. Ghandi

10. a hummingbird, a hawk or a cardinal

11. a cat sleeping in an odd position...you'd have to see how my cat Raven sleeps...crazy furchild!

12. a Green Man - I LOVE the pattern on Urban Threads! Cheesy

13. something inspired by my Wist or Pinterest

MY CLAIMS LIST

Hello! First Ongoing swap AND hoopla swap. I keep telling myself no, but I NEED hooplas.

Ummm a little about me, I'm nerd to the bone! I love the idea of having a bunch of different hoops and actually have a spot already picked out! Here's my list. Oh I'm from the Us ( Cali to be exact!)

Lord of the Rings
Celtic (knots, crosses, letters etc)
Midieval (any all castles, dragons, knights fantasy scenes etc.)
World of Warcraft (Alliance!)
Sewing
Buttons
art
music
trees
old school video games
Old movies
Japanese themes (or asian all together!)
Kawaii

I don't care for pin ups, skulls/zombies or new age/pagan stuff or the color purple in mass quantities.

Please correct me if I've not posted accurately

Claiming Gomerrific for a "buttons" hoop.
Send by June 24

1/0/0

Hi, I'm Robin.  I am a medical coder by day but a crafter by night.  I live in Alabama (USA), in the deep south.  I love to shop in thrift stores!!! I usually buy lots of wool sweaters that I felt and then create with that fabric.  It's great since it doesn't ravel when cut.  I've been a cross stitcher for years, since I was about 15.  Had never really embroidered much since high school, but when I found Craftster, I fell in love with embroidery all over again.

I have a hoopla wall (can be seen in my images profile here on Craftster).  I am not a fan of pastel colors, but I love natural linens, pieced fabric mixed media artwork.  Almost any color will work on my hoopla wall as the wall color is white and the accent colors in this room are lime green and black.  I'm a cross stitcher and I do love x stitch, but I'm trying to focus more on embroidery or pieced fabric art with embroidery embellisments.

My themes:
1  stitched house or houses
2. R monogram
3. swirly tree
4. bicycle
5. "twitter" bird (like the twitter logo)
6.  owl
7.  "doodle" stitching (see Aimee Ray http://www.etsy.com/shop/littledear?ref=seller_info or http://yougogirl.typepad.com/you_go_girl/doodle_stitching/
8.  alphabet (all letters maybe each in a different font??) - woo, that would be a BIG hoopla hoop :-)

Thank you for whoever claims me

I can use any size hoop from 3" all the way up to how ever big you want to stitch

I have a WIST, Pinterest and Flickr that has tons of things I like.

Claiming Robinpich for an owl hoop (that possibly might incorporate a few other themes?)
Send by June 24
2/0/0 (darnit reached my limit already...better get busy Grin)

I am Jenny and I'm in North Carolina. I'm also easy to please and most likely I'll be quite happy with whatever you decide to make!! Just no profanity/obscenity, please. I like bright, bold colors, nothing dark, and nothing too pastel. My current color scheme tends to be yellow, deep reds, teal, and greens. Don't feel confined to that, though! any shape or size will do, I'm not picky! Styles I like are pretty varied, but to name a few: vintage or retro, Art Nouveau, Gothic/Medieval, some kind of cutesy/silly stuff, but not really into the whole pink-and-sparkly breed of cutesy.

My Themes:
-Russian and eastern European Folk Art (I LOVE Pysanky Eggs, Wycinanki paper cuttings, matroyska dolls...)
-Pre-Raphaelite Arts and Crafts Style Designs (William Morris and etc)
-Gothic art and architecture, illuminated manuscripts, medieval stained glass
-Fairy tales, Folk tales, children's poems and stories
-Birds (favorites being bluebirds, quail, owls, peacocks...)
-cooking and kitchen related

Claims:
r0ck0n to ZidishaLuxe for a USSR Hoop (6/22)
r0ck0n to Robinpich for an owl hoop (6/24)
