Starry Night window

This is the second of two 4-sash windows that I had just lying around in storage. I bought the windows at an crafts fair years ago and they just had mirrors in the panes. I made a poppy window for my older daughter: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=375357.0
and this one is for my younger daughter. For the Starry Night window, I painted the frame with silver leaf; other than that the technique is the same for both windows. Both consist of glass seed beads glued on plain window glass and as a final step I coated the glass in resin. Enjoy!

It took me about 2 months of dibbling and dabbling at it in between other projects. My daughter loves it and I will miss it when she moves out and takes it with her.

Next project: "The Kiss" by Gustav Klimt. And this one *I'm* keeping!

Really lovely. I would have never thought of using seed beads in this way. It looks fabulous.
