I got this 1984 card from mxer145 for my literature theme. I love the image with the text from the novel superimposed onto it. Thanks mxer!

Loooook at the precious kitty that Tree27 sent me!  Don't you just wanna reach out and smother her with love?! It is from one of Tree27's fave kids books. I love the image, and love the corner embelishments.  thank you, Tree27 for a gorgeous card.

Two cards received!

From Usagi-chan:

The quote reads "you can't change the past, but you can ruin the present by worrying about the future." Oh so true! I ended up staring at this card for quite some time just letting my mind wander.

And from gozer, for my 7 deadly sins theme:

I am going to make you all guess which one this is! Okay, well just scroll down a bit (I will try to hide it without taking up the entire thread with spaces). I kept wondering how she was going to depict this, but what a great job!

Thank you both!

Thanks! I really liked how it turned out. It was one of those cards that fought me to begin with. I was starting to panic about it. I wanted it to be one thing, it had other ideas and, of course, it won out in the end. LOL!

Wow, the end of June cards are rolling in and I am continually impressed with the quality of everyone's work!!

First off, I have one for "ninja's that are also mimes" from Brackish Potato:

I have to admit, my favorite part has to be her title, "Silent But Deadly" (HAHAHAHA), but the rest of the card is awesome too!  I love how the mime's stripey shirt and eye makeup peek out of his attire!

Next, a pop up card from blupaisan, the "Sleepover", first on the outside:

and then the inside: (sorry couldn't get a great photo)

And this is her first pop-up! Isn't it fantastic?  I love all the little drawings...

And one more, from Eamea, "Honu" for my Hawai`ian Language theme:

This picture really does not do the card justice.  I just stared at this one for a while when it came!  The broken glass and beads all create a beautiful mosaic surrounding the little turtle!

Thank you so much everyone!! I'm so happy right now!!
