I can't stop laughing at the cookies for the funeral card. Have a heart. Give an old dying man a cookie.

From Alchamy513:

What a great job she did. I love the simplicity and the fact that it actually makes you think about "captured in time" with the motionless butterfly. Really really cool!

I received 3 wonderful pieces of art today.  first, from pollyprissypants, a hilarious card featuring my kissthisguy theme.  kissthisguy is a website for misheard lyrics and is full of funny stuff.  this tune is a Simon and Garfunkle song that should say, Michigan seems like a dream to me now, but somebody heard this...

I love the wee chicken showing off the funny lyrics.  thank you so much, polly!

next, two from jmiller614 on my Green Mountain State theme -

Killington vermont wanted to belong to new hampshire instead of vermont.  well, to each his own i guess...

AAAAkkkkk!  I cannot tell you how much i adore old sap buckets.  they still hang 'em around here.  this is real bark and tree bits you see on the card. I love love love it.  thank you very much, jmiller614.

It were lightnin'...

I got three awesome and fantastic cards in the mail today!
*DISCLAIMER- Apologizing IN ADVANCE for crappy pictures! I'm so sorry!  I picked up the camera, and pressed the power button to snap these lovelies, and the camera refuses to come on. Even though I think it's an exercise in futility, both batteries are now on the charger, just in case. My phone sucks! Better pics soon!*

First up, my artist's choice theme, as interpreted by kwality570. I love kwality's monsters, and now I have one of my very own! Ironically entitled 'Tea Time'; she didn't know it, but I collect teapots!

So cute!

Next up, jmiller614 interpreted TWO of my themes in one claim (awesome extra-ness! Thanks, Jen!): New England cemeteries and local ghost stories. The settings for both are in New Hampshire (a lovely state in which we both lived at one point or another, come to find out). The cemetery is one local to her former home:

She also gave me the history of the stone she chose to illustrate.

In addition to that awesome card, she illustrated a couple of legends surrounding a dwelling in the mountains of NH. The place is haunted by several ghosts, and she illustrated something particular to each legend.

Thanks to you both! I love them all!

June has been a great month for ATC's! I hope I get a kwality monster in July! (hint, hint)
This card is my last one for June. It's by Alchamy513 in my Steampunk theme.

I think it's gorgeous! The gear is a handcarved stamp. Thanks, Alchamy!

I'm glad you guys like your cards so far, I usually make them in Photoshop and then embellish them, but I was without Photoshop for most of the swap (I got a new computer and couldn't find the disk) and I'm still without a printer so I had to stay within the range of my little scrapbook supply box! I think I like scrounging through and trying to find just the right everything though...

Now I just need to finish my last 3 and get them out the door, its July already!

I'll make sure I claim you in July!  Smiley
I'm just glad everyone isn't getting sick of seeing them.  I definitely had that fear.
