What a piece of work is man!

Just wanted to share a few pieces I've made for swaps recently Smiley

Damask-patterned ribbon and pearl necklace. For the wists swap. This ribbon was kind of stiff so I made it longer than choker-length.

This necklace was for the Tudor Swap. Very fun to make, and I adore the "overstatedness" of it. Tudor jewelry was nuts!!

Also for the Tudor swap. Found these perfect gold crosses at the thrift store and added some faux rubies. I'm really into the faux gem look lately...

For a wists swap...love the combo of ribbon and gems. I'm interested in experimenting more with the turquoise/light blue and red color combo too.

Mossy pendant. Made this with some of those faux moss rocks by peeling off the moss. Little rhinestone and some vintage lace glams it up a bit. And a bird punched out of a book page.

Embellished book with charms on a vintage goldtone chain. I love that chain! It has random oval links in it. Here's a thumbnail of the book pages I cut out and sewed together for the inside of the locket:

Lil mushroom poly clay studs...

And a cupcake pin cushion ring for the Jar of Whimsies swap. The bottom is the lid from a pill bottle.

Thanks for looking!  Grin

We're on craftster because we love to create. Why should we settle for what we currently are?

Beautiful jewelry, but I got distracted by your avatar!  Those kitties are too cute!  I think they're practicing for world domination by Roomba.

The Tudor necklace is wonderful.  I love the colors.

I find joy in creating and helping others create not just jewelry and crafts but best of all, the life they want.
