so now that ds is here dh and i are getting our house all pretty and redecorated for our future as a family. here's my contributions so far:

2 potholders, more to come soon:


a doily, also more of these to come!


placemats, yep gonna make more of those too!


and my new blanket, which is going in my new special craft room cuz i had to donate my current one to ds.

Love love love them all!! I am just getting the hang of doing something other then scarves and hats. Definately going to try these especially that blanket and place mats!

yeah i was thinking blanket as i was making them, i don't really like how they lay as placemats...they're a tad wonky cuz i stopped counting after a couple rounds and threw it off  Undecided but they just look so pretty with my yellow and green kitchen. maybe one day i'll attempt round ones and then try a blanket!
