I want to get my dad something nice for Father's Day this year. He never tells me what he wants and so, he usually ends up with a t-shirt or something. lol.
Anyway about my dad.....
*he's a carpenter (but already has pretty much every tool ever made...or at least it seems like it)
*he's really the outdoors type - likes to fish, hunt, camp....

So, can anyone give me any good ideas???

for fathers day last year, i made my dad this window box to go outside our kitchen window with herbs like basil, thyme, oregano, mint, etc planted in it. maybe you could do something like that, only with slightly more masculine plants. as a carpenter, he'd probably appreciate the workmanship, and, as a hunter, he'll hopefully enjoy the plants. in theory. anyway, good luck!

I am married to a carpenter and he likes tool rolls for his bits.
