I recently made these. The one with the blue lace has underwires, the salmon one doesn't. What I love so much about making lingerie is working with all these pretty laces and trims. And you don't need a lot of fabric  Smiley

What a great way to get the perfect fit! Awesome job!

It's ok for me to hate you a little bit, right? Because I am impossible to fit but there's just no way I have the patience to make myself a bra. The salmon one is my fave, I love it.

The bad news: There is no key to happiness.
The good news: It isn't locked.

Just saw something on tv (maybe Sunday Morning on CBS?) about how handmade bras like this sell for about $150 in France. And those were just mass-produced (still by hand, but without any reference to their future owner's physique).

Bespoke and beautiful bras could be the next "boutique" item out there...

I LOVE the salmon one. Does it offer enough support. Do you use a pattern, or have you self drafted. I keep telling myself I'm going to start making my own.

These are stunners.  I love that you made a "wireless" model, too.  I shelled out $40 for a bra-making kit from etsy, and the instructions and materials list were so vague that my attempt was laughable, pitiful, and completely unwearable.

Gorgeous.  How did you learn how to do this?

As someone who is right on the cusp of having to have custom-made bras I must say that this is completely and totally awesome! I've read various tutorials but somehow just can not get wearable results. Do you have any links to good tutorials and/or tips of the trade?

You and your sewing machine make wonders together!

I looked through all of your images here on Craftster (don't worry, I'm not a stalker, haha) and I am in awe of your taste and your talent!

If I had a figure like yours, I would start making that kind of clothes and underwear for myself (but probably not half as good as you do).
Still, I should figure out how to make myself underwear though, especially bras, since I can never find what I want in the shops (and, like some already commented, can hardly find any in my size).

PS: I read that you moved from Belgium to Canada. Are you Belgian by origin? I live in Belgium (but I am from The Netherlands).
