The first thing you need to do to start knitting is to make a slip knot.

1. Create a Loop - Make sure the working yarn (the yarn attached to the ball) is in the back.

2. Fold the Loop onto the tail

3.  Insert Needle

4.  Pull Tail and Working Yarn snugly around the needle

Now you're ready to Cast On!  Smiley
