This is an ongoing project for the Craftster Knitting board; as such, it will be updated often!
The goal: a complete How To Knit guide hosted on Craftster.
The format: This is a list of every knitting technique we could think of. Over time, each technique will become a link to a tutorial posted here on Craftster on how to do that technique.
How YOU can help:If you've heard of a technique that isn't listed here, please suggest it (as a reply to this thread) so that we can add it to the list!
If you know how to do any of the techniques listed here and would like to do up a tutorial, please do so, and then post the Craftster link to it in reply to this thread. Someone will periodically go through this thread, add the new ideas and tutorials to the master list (and will delete your reply to this thread, just to keep things tidy and easy to manage).
The rules: For a tutorial to be listed here, it has to be hosted on Craftster (on the
Knitting: Discussions and Questions board).
Tutorials hosted off-site will not be included. If at all possible, please host your pictures on Craftster Picture Hosting. If your pictures disappear and we can't get a hold of you, your tutorial may no longer be linked from this list (decided case-by-case)
If you are interested in creating the tutorials, please try to "fill in the gaps" and focus on the techniques that don't have a tutorial already. However, do not hesitate to create another tutorial for a technique that already has one, as everyone learns differently and the wording and types of pictures you choose to use may be just the thing someone needs to be successful!
Finally, try to create separate posts for each technique to avoid confusion.
