I recently purchased a pattern for a purse (this one https://www.youcanmakethis.com/info/featured-products/sweet-pea-pleated-handbag.htm) but I was incredibley dissapointed to find out that although a couple of the bags featured had this really cute flower type thing on them there was no pattern/directions for that... Do any of you know a similiar or just-as-cute accesory for a bag like this? I am making it as a carry-all for my sister as opposed to a diaper bag. For her to use but it will match her nursing cover... The colors/fabric I bought is this Amy Butler design https://www.fabric.com/home-decor-fabric-designer-home-decor-fabric-amy-butler-home-decor-fabric-collections-amy-butler-love-home-decor-fabric-amy-butler-home-dcor-love-twill-paradise-garden-midnight.aspx so it would have to be something sort of funky and cool to go with it... I am open to ALL ideas and thank you in advance!

Also, I know I already purchased the fabric but it's a med-heavyweight fabric... do you think that's TOO heavy for a purse? Or a nursing cover even...

I think the fabric you purchased will be perfect. Heavier is always better IMO, I hate when I make a purse and it's floppy and doesn't have enough weight to it.

A couple of the flowers kinda look like kanzashi flowers to me and one of the other ones just looks like a rosette. Kinda hard to tell from the pics though.

Hope that helps!
