Wow Foxy Sam, what an awesome haul.

Nilmerg you did an AMAZING job embroidering that celtic dragon. How did you get the pattern on there to be stitched?

I love the quote on the inside of the hook case.

What a lovely gallery already!  I love the Vader print - so funny!  The cat bag is awesome - I love the little bird on his head!lol  The celtic dragon was amazing - that was definitely a labor of love. Smiley

Crafty, I used that washaway stabiliser. I traced the pattern on it using a black marker and then used pins to hold it in place while I stitched. I didn't end up 'washing it away' I just pealed it off. I think it worked a bit better than baking type paper would have as it was very flexible, but you had to make sure your hands were dry when I was stitching!

I received a wonderful parcel from Foxy Sam yesterday. The suspense was prolonged by the fact that I had to wait for my DD to get home from preschool before I could open it!

First up was an amazing Dispicable me Minion! He's about 15cms tall:

Next here is a purple mushroom. That's Abi's hand waiting to grab! He's about 10cm tall.

Then 2 bees - one for each of the girls. They are about 8cm long.

A tiny Octopus. He's about 10cm tall including his tentacles!

AND then a family of ladybirds. The little one is only about 3.5cm tall and the big one is about 5 cm tall. I love all the detail on this little family!

Foxy Sam had asked Abi what her favourite animal was and when I asked her she said Snake  Shocked So Sam made her a special snake just for her! He is about 37 cm long from tongue tip to tail tip. She is very happy with him. I love his mottled green colour.

And just for me, here are 2 polymerclay ladybirds.

Sam sent chocolate...yummo (one bar of cadbury white bubble didn't even make it to the shot!) and some great crochet flowers for me to work with in future projects.

I love everything she sent, but I think my favourites are well.. Undecided..everything!  Grin

Here are the girls looking very pleased with their new toys.
