Hi! Smiley

Basically, I'm going to an expo this weekend, and I have nothing to cosplay as. I have a few costumes from things I've done before(but not cosplay) which may or may not be suitable. I don't know if any manga/anime characters wear anything similar. I'm sorry, I don't have photos. Sad

First one: It's a bit like a Robin Hood costume. Long, thigh length boots, green medieval-style tunic which has almost triangles cut all the way around? There's also a emerald green cape which is about knee length, a typical Robin Hood hat, and brown leggings.

Second one:
It's an evening dress design, with a purple skirt. Around the skirt there is a kind of sparkly bluey almost fabric. The middle of the skirt is green, and by middle I mean like in many medieval dress designs they have something in the middle. The top is halterneck and purple again.

Third one: I have a musical note dress, which you can see pictures of if you want on the topic I started to show it.  It's white with black musical notes all over it, as well as black straps. I doubt any manga/anime characters wear this, though... Cry This is the only one of the costumes that I actually made myself-I'm a novice in this. The others were made by my Granny for things. Smiley She's awesome.

Fourth one: A long white dress with long, medieval style sleeves(I think). It's basically a white medieval style dress.

Fifth one: A simple medieval style long red/burgandy dress with a brown cord tied around the middle.

Sixth one: This is the last one. I think I've lost most of this one, though.....Sad A white, long sleeved top. Long white (shiny) leggins. A sparkly gold sequiny top to wear over the white one. A slightly longer than waist length white cape with a gold thing around the outside. (Is it called the trim? I know, I don't know anything about costume making...Sad )  And a white hat, which has gold on it as well. A bit like a robin hood/typical costume 'prince' hat.

Almost all of these seem to be something medieval, don't they? Smiley

I also have other dresses, but they're just normal everyday summer dresses....I don't know if any would be at all like a cosplay.

If you read through this and have an idea which involves mixing and matching parts of any costume, please tell me! Smiley  It would be great if I could find something. Smiley

If anyone has any other ideas of a simple cosplay I might be able to make or create before this weekend  (yes, I have left this rather late Smiley ) which don't involve the listed costumes, please comment and tell me! Smiley

Thank you very much for reading this! Smiley

The white dress with bell sleeves, I think with some cutting and bustling and a dozen yards of pre-gathered white lace, you could have yourself a decent Chii cosplay.

The dress:

The solar-charging-devices, aka "ears:"

If you have not seen Chobits, it's worth it! It makes boys dewy-eyed, it's so heart-felt Cheesy Right up there with Fruit's Basket, in my opinion.

Hope you have fun at the expo Cheesy

Thanks. Smiley I like that idea, but as there are only two more days I don't think I'll be able to transform my dress in time....Sad Maybe I'll be able to do that for another expo, though. Smiley
Thanks for the idea though, and I'm definetly going to look Chobits up. It sounds good! Smiley
