In keeping with my 'if it doesn't belong on a shoe, I'm going to put it there' philosophy, I have a new pair! This time I decided to play with some flats because I have the cutest pair of denim bermudas and I needed a weird, yet relatively neutral pair of flats to wear around with them this summer. Thus, the oatmeal cookies were born!

Like the Candy Coated shoes, I was concerned about buggies, more so with these due to the crazy sweetness of raisins. I was also concerned about flexibility because we all know that flats move differently than pumps do. I used both glue and sealant that dried flexible and so far, so fabulous! It's been pretty nasty here in Rhode Island, but once we actually get some decent spring/summer weather, I'll get an action shot with a full outfit. I'm considering wearing these for my engagement shoot later on in the season, but I'm not sure yet. :3

Crazy bony feet. Boo Sad

Wooooo!! Tasty!

Thanks for looking! Smiley

There aren't very many pigeons in my neck of the woods; it's the squirrels you have to watch out for Wink

WOW!  Amazing Shocked  I'm curious as well about the durability of these and how they hold up when worn.  Totally awesome, I never would have thought to put food items on shoes as decor!

Haha, I have an affinity to putting weird things on shoes.

I didn't enter the challenge because I believe one of the requirements for eligibility is that all of the materials used are edible. The base shoe isn't food, so I figured it wouldn't qualify.
