I am just finishing up the Color Hoopla Swap and really want to start another hoop! I am willing to organize(just have to investigate the process first, I am here several times a day so it shouldn't be a problem), I just don't know what the topic should be. Anyone interested in another hoopla? If so....what would you like the theme to be?

I've never made a hoopla before, but hopefully i'll get some practice in before the next round. Otherwise I guess i'll be watching on in every again Smiley

What about another on-going swap?

There is an ongoing hoopla swap already going on.  I think they are about to transition months.  Here's the link to the discussion thread:

I suspect this will be replacing the other hoopla swaps

Yes, have a look at the Ongoing Hoopla Swap - it's been going well, and it'd be great to have more people join it! The ongoing style seems to work well for several people (for me at least anyway!) - everyone can choose their own themes and you can plan your claims to fit your available time. And looking at everyone's lists has given me some great ideas to work with too.

The next round will be opening up very soon. Smiley

I sorta think there is room for both - The regular swap concept where you and a partner both work at getting to know each other well enough to figure out what your partner would truly love is particularly sweet when it comes to making hooplas while the ongoing theme is ideal for people who want to be able to choose their partner based on viewing wish lists and seeing something they would love to make, or for people who want move at a much faster pace crafting for many partners in the time frame of a regular swap.

The crafting time is usually longer in a regular swap as opposed to an ongoing swap. Plus I like having a theme. I love the idea of the ongoing swap, but like Averia said, I think it is fun to have a partner who you stalk a bit to make a hoop. I just love stalking..... Wink

Just info for anyone interested - the Ongoing Hoopla Swap has a three week crafting time (rather than two weeks as in OWS), still relatively quick, but not super-fast. And the minimum requirement is a medium item, so I think it's quite do-able. Smiley

I think there's probably room for both kinds of swap too - it just depends what suits your style and/or schedule.
