I recently came up with these and they have definitely become one of my favourite snacks... I make them with veggie sausages, but I'm sure they could be made with meat ones, though you may have to adjust baking time.

You'll need 1 sausage (not hot dog ones) and some dip (green ketchup, ranch dressing, cream cheese, mayo, etc.)

Here's how you do it:
1. Preheat oven to 425F.
2. Slice sausage thinly.
3. Place slices on a baking sheet.
4. Bake 10-15 minutes, flipping slices every 5 minutes (or until crisp).
5. Serve along with dip!

is green ketchup made with green tomatoes?

We've been making green ketchup for years with all the left over green tomatoes from the garden, some apples, onions, vinegar, sugar, and spices (cloves, mustard seed, pepper, etc.)! Fruit ketchup or some salsa would be good too...

Never heard that sausage can be a chips and also the green ketchup. I will try this recipe cause it really sounds good for the snacks but I don't like green ketchup,I will used ketchup, cream cheese and mayo. I think it will taste so delicious.  Grin

I make a green tomato chutney which is chunky, so i assume green ketchup is basically the same, but more squishy!

my mom makes sausage chips too! she has amazing thin slicing skills. it's always a mystery to me how she does it. the end result always looks like she uses some machine or something. so it always comes out really crispy easily. and it really feels like chips. i can never do it so thinly.

but my dad makes a different kind of dip. it's mayo based. it's like a cross between ranch, tartar sauce, and cheese. i'm sure though that there is no ketchup in his (because i don't eat ketchup) i really don't know what he puts in there. we just always dig in. lol!
