Great job. I know how you feel about not having a dedicated crafting space. I have to use my dinner table and the floor when I make quilts. Having carpet really doesn't help me.Tongue But! You got it done and don't be surprised when you find yourself itching to do another. Cheesy

A lesson that I learned when making big quilts is that where ever possible use a quilt as you go method. I use my dining room table for all my sewing and while it is a good size, trying to quilt a huge quilt on your own is a nightmake.

On the other hand. You did a great job. I hope that as the bad memories of making it fade, you can come to appreciate it more.

I love the bright colors on black. Even though you might consider it one of your mistakes, I adore the fact that all the pinwheels are not perfectly centered.  It's what caught my eye in the thumbnail and it looks even better up close.  A field of pinwheels would never be perfectly aligned.  It gives your piece movement, I just love all of it.  Thanks for sharing.

I love its simplicity, and I love black with bright colours. Looks great!

this is amazing.  I haven't attempted any shapes other than squares or rectangles in my quilts yet- and I'm kind of scared to haha.

Hehe, thanks alwaysinmyroom, there's loads of mistakes in the quilt but by the end I was practically shouting "I don't care! I just want it finished!" Cheesy

That is actually my quilting/crafting mantra. Cheesy It works! Your quilt is so beautiful, you should be really proud.

I'm glad you stuck with it, the quilt is certainly something to be proud of.  Look forward to seeing your next quilt.
