That green dress is the exact shape of dress I've been looking to make for myself (can't find anything like it in the shops). Please tell me you used a pattern?  Huh Smiley

Both dresses look amazing on you Smiley

Great dresses! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE that first dress! And I agree with the 60's 70's upholstery fabric patterns, I'm in love with them also Smiley

Okay so once again I am completely redoing my pictures. Got tired of photobucket, the only reason I used it was for here so I decided I will just use Craftster's photo uploader. So while I am switching over my photo links will be broken. Message me if there is a post you would like the pics for.

You remind me of Zooey Deschanel a little bit!  Cheesy

I was thinking the same thing.

I love the green fabric on the first dress.

Lovely! The first dress is my fave. I love prints like that and it makes a fantastic dress. Great job!

It's my own pattern!  Which isn't even on paper!  But I can say that the skirt is a classic 70s shape, and the top is a classic 60s shape.  You might be able to find vintage patterns that have the right top and bottom and then combine them.  I'd look for an empire waist bodice and a-line skirt.  Hope this helps!

Thank you for letting me know the details - I'll have to take the plunge into the world of patternless making. Can't be that scary, can it?  Wink
