Nice bags - I like that 1st fabric too. I think your bags need topstitching on the body, that would make them look finished - otherwise, good job.

I'm so glad you like it enough to give it a try. I'd love to see how your bags turn out.

@little me That's a good idea, I am not always a fan of top stitching, but I think it would look nice here.

@CandyMoon That's exactly what I thought yesterday when I was sporting my new tote and forgot I decided to make it "simple, basic" Smiley

Thanks so much for your comments and hope you have a nice weekend :>

For what it's worth, I certainly don't think the fabric is "too couch-like" -- I think it looks gorgeous, and any of the bags would be wonderful with a little black dress.  They look tremendously easy to get into, as well; I personally hate the bags whose openings are so small that you can't even get a wallet into them, so these look blissfully (practically) large.   Smiley

I love the idea of wearing them with a black dress.
They are very practical, I made one almost four years ago and I still wear it - they look pretty and you can run after the bus with them in case you need to :>
Plus they don't hinder you when walking.
