I was wondering if anyone had any good face pads/make up remover pad patterns. I hate to keep using cotton balls and my step mom gets angry when I use our face cloths because my eyeliner and mascara stains them.

Thanks guys and I can't wait to start!

I've made tons with the scrap ends of my cotton yarns. I've done two rounds of dc. 6 in the magic circle and 2 in each for the second round. It makes about and inch and a half circle. I have 2 jars in the bathroom cabinet, one for clean and one for dirty. Throw them in a mesh bag and off in the wash they go.

OMG thats brilliant! Im going to have to steal this idea-would save me soooo much money on makeup remover pads. My Urban Decay Primer Potion works so well that a regular cloth and hot water doesnt work like it usually does, so I spend a fortune on either cotton balls or makeup remover pads, but this is genius!

I use mine for everything but removing nail polish. My personal set has a lot of wonky thread ends, because I tie my odd lenghts together until I have a decent sized ball then I crochet away.

LOL! Yep... been sitting in front of the TV working on the last one instead of doing housework and schoolwork! The only reason that I stopped was because I remembered that I need to make a quiz for tomorrow, but I'll get back to working on it later this evening... and since I gave up a tutoring job, I have extra time tomorrow night to do some more! After I grade those quizzes, of course Wink

I haven't swapped in a bit either so I can't wait to get going too. I work at a Yarn Store so I can knit at work (or crochet) so I think this should be a good time too!

I am so jealous of anyone who can knit/crochet at work or on their commute! I'm lucky if I have time to go to the bathroom during the day Wink And, with only 20 minutes for lunch, there isn't time to eat and crochet. I only got to crochet today because I had the day off Smiley

I signed up! Can't wait to see who I'm partnered up with!

I have a ton of yarn I picked up from when I was stationed in Turkey. Dishcloths are a recent thing for me, but I've been crocheting since I was a little girl. So many great ideas too (like the makeup remover pads...FANTASTIC idea!).

This is my first swap and I'm so excited!

Ah, I wish I could crochet at work. If I do people stare at me like I'm committing a crime!

I work in the mail room at an electric head office so it's lots of fun to give the cubicle-oriented peoples one more reason to look down upon the lowly, young and creative me.

I finished one towel and I am VERY proud of the design. I may have to make more for me!

I'm in another swap now so I'm in the middle of making their stuff. Once I'm done that (send date June 6) I'll be set! Bring it!
