Details of swap:
Dishcloth or Washcloth or Scrubbie swap.  Can be knit or crochet. Participants can sign up to send 1, 2 or 3 dishcloths/washcloths to their partner. Please make all cloths with cotton yarn. More can be swapped as long as both partners agree. This is a quickie swap. You will only have two weeks to make them.

I am thinking about this... but I'm not sure about the time frame... It's possible, I think, as long as life doesn't throw me any unexpected curve balls. I'll have to wait until later in the week, and if all is still looking good, I'm in!

This would be a great way to give crocheting or knitting a try.  A ball of cotton yarn is usually less than $2 and a crochet hook is even less!  It's super easy to learn. 

If I weren't moving in the middle of this I would totally sign up!  Maybe next round.

I'm going to have to dig out my list of dishcloth patterns and see which ones I could complete quickly. I could make them in advance if my partner wasn't specific about colors. Maybe I'll dig out my cotton yarns and see what I have on hand...


ETA: I just printed out 2 patterns. I have a car ride tomorrow, and when I'm not the driver, crocheting keeps me from getting carsick! So, I may be able to bust out one of them tomorrow...

I have a (stupid?) question...We always use dish scrubbies to wash the dishes (family and friends ask us all the time 'so you really use scrubbies that you actually put in the washing machine?!'  ), but are dish cloths used for the same purpose?

Scrubbies count. I have gotten scrubbies in past dishcloth swaps. This is swap is open to scrubbies also.
