I was rough housing (playfully) with my lad last night which resulted in a severely damaged ankle for me Sad

Had a day on the couch and attempted for the umpteenth time to teach myself to crochet.

After a major false start, I am happy with what I managed, and will hopefully post piccies of a completed cushion cover next week! Grin

Not sure about the tension.......the crochet, not my son! Shocked

HAHAHA! Oh, I hope your son is duly chastened, he's got a crocheting-mother on his hands now! Once you get going, there's no stoppin' ya Wink

Thank heaven for little boys!!!  "Time Out" at your house now means sit there and hold this yarn while I wind it into a ball! And just so you know- that ankle injury will probably flare up several times requiring you to spend much time on the couch with your feet up. To fight off the boredom we recommend that you always have hook, yarn and pattern handy !
