I have never sewn for myself and I just bought the Colette Parfait pattern.  I am super excited, but my measurements are so wacky I don't know what size(s) to cut... What do you all suggest when I measure at a size 2 bust, 8 waist, and 4/6 hips..... sorry if this sounds dumb, but how do i get the bust to fit the waist if I cut a 2 bust and 8 waist?? Or should I cut a 8 bust and do a small bust adjustment?
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks!
Alison

Always cut your pattern in the largest size that you fit into, and then take it in during your fitting. A mock up would definitely help here - once it's fitted, you can take it apart and transfer your changes to the original pattern.
So basically you would cut everything in size 8 and make adjustments.

Thanks so much!  I was going to make a muslin, but still needed some guidance as to where to start Smiley.
