I also have had recent fantasies about an ongoing inchie swap!  Seems like a ton of work to organize, though.

Maybe it would be fun to try a rinchie swap some time soon, too? (1 inch circles)

Hehehe If you want to start the OIS (ongoing inchie swap!) then you are more than welcome Kimchery! It can run along with the themed swaps like the hooplas do!

Craftybutterfly has started up an inchie scavenger hunt, that sounds pretty good fun. I'm just waiting for some feedback and them I'm going to jump in on that one.

Crafty andI have been planning so that hopefully for the next few months, there will be a new inchie swap starting, with a different theme, each time one finishes.  Wink Constant inchies  Grin

Glad you like the inchies Abbey.

Three cheers for you guys!  I was wondering during the LAST inchie swap why there isn't an ongoing inchie swap, thought about trying to get something like that up and running, but this idea is even better.  Some kind of general inchie theme to go on.  Whenever one swap ends, a new one will soon begin, sounds great to me!

Here are the wonderful Inchies and ATCs that I have received so far:  ( I will edit when the last batch arrives!  So excited!)

There is so much Awesomesauce in these inchies and ATCs!  Be prepared Pic heavy!

From Chameleonhound:  She chose my themes Buddhism, Mehndi and Fairies.
First here is the amazing inchie prayerflag she made out of the Chakra symbols!!  Genius!  I seriously ooohed and ahhhed and Squeed over this.  I love it.

Here they are with the Mehndi inchies that seriously rock.  All are hand drawn and maybe etched?  Love them too!

And for my most Excellent, Freaking Sweet, BEAUTIFUL atc.....

Seriously cool:
She added a disclaimer that no butterflies were harmed in the making of this ATC.... I loved it all.  Thank you so much, Chameleonhound, You Rock!

And now for my most stellar inchies and ATC from Cranbeary... straight from Awesomeville.....

Cranbeary chose my themes Buddhism, old horror movies, fairies, and stalked me with a Big Fish inchie!  She also dabbled in the fine art of Mehndi with my ATC

In their gift box..a pile of treasures!

Here they are layed out:
The Dharma Wheel seriously rocks my socks!

Who is that creeping around?  Nosferatu!  SUH-WEET!

The Flower Fairies are some of my favorites!  I am so glad you picked them!

And now for the awesome ATC:

Thank you so much for being a thoughtful partner, Cranbeary!  I loved them all!

Okay I am a bad, naughty, procrastinating partner.  Crazyalien8--I apologize for my tardiness!

I received these BEAUTIFUL inchies and ATC well over a week ago... closer to over two weeks ago...from Crazyalien8.

First off...I was greeted by wonderful Envelope Art!

My jaw dropped when I pulled these out....

Here are close-ups of the awesomeness  (this thread is full of Awesome...)
Out of this group, I love the Lotus.  The line drawings and dots are SOOO tiny.  Crazyalien8, you must have the hands of a surgeon.

Out of this group, I love the knot... and you will see why in a few seconds....Did you hand-cut those tiny holes?!

And for this group... I am going to have to go with Sparkly...shiny.... glitter.....(I love them all in all the groups!!)

Now up for attention, is my Cool ATC:

Ladies, get your garlic, I present to you....Nosferatu

And crazyalien8 here is a surprise for you.....

Your Knot Inchie matches my tattoo!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  How freaking cool is THAT?

To all my swap partners--Thank you so much for all your hard work and thoughtfulness.  Love EVERYTHING I received!

I received my inchies from Tynwia today Smiley

And, I was the lucky winner of her very first Inchie...

AND her very first ATC...

I love everything you sent, Tynwia, but I have to say that my most favorite is the horse ATC. My daughter was super excited when she saw it and it will be added to her craftsters wall of horse stuff Smiley

Here is the ATC and Inchies ChristieAnn sent me!

I love the quote on the atc, I had never heard it before. She ran with the cupcake theme. And this pic doesn't do them justice, they sparkle like crazy!

EDIT== This is a really bad picture! The quote says "Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.". And the inchies have words like "sugar", "baking", "delicious", "sweet", etc.

Awesome stuff guys! DerbyDarling, if I'm not mistaken I think that quote is by Picasso?
And Beautifully Frayed, I did try some experimental etching with two of your inchies. I found that if I cut some thick dark magazine cover and scratched through it like a scratch board, it made added color really pop.
I'm glad you liked everything! And great job, Cranbeary!
And everyone else, too!

I would have never of guessed that was a magazine cover!  Freaking genius!  I hope you continue to make inchies and ATCs because you have a talent!  Thank you again Chameleonhound.  As my daughter said when she saw your goodies, "Mom, you can't top that!"  LOL.  We were both in awe.  Love it.

I received inchies and an ATC from Opalgryphon yesterday and I love them! She made a beautiful replica of a Van Goh for my modern art theme and a microscopic view of beer for my science theme for the inchies.

For the ATC, she made a gorgeous replicate of one of the photos on my wist.

Thanks so much Opalgryphon! Cheesy
