So it is my friend's 40th birthday and his wife e-mails me out of the blue (he doesn't have facebook and he moved away 5 years ago so I kinda lost contact with him). It was a pleasant surprise to hear from her. She is putting together a secret blog with pictures and stories from her and her husband's old friends back where I live. The blog will be a surprise present for my friend. Anyway, besides just writing a story or something like that I insisted that I make them a portrait. The wife was ecstatic to see this paper cutting I did of her and her husband. I really hope my friend likes it too.


Here is the cutting and below I have included the original picture I based the cutting on for comparison.
