I know they don't match but I was just experimenting with fabric that I have on hand and thought I would try making a wallet and a handbag
I used the part of the tutorial for the handbag from sewmamasew.com April bag...mine has a gusset instead of rounded corners and I added a flower.

The wallet is just my idea of what i need in a wallet...easy access to cash and coin since i am not a credit card user but still carry  one and easy access to my other cards etc.
I will do a matching set later this week and maybe readjust the wallet cc pockets lower so they won't be in the way of the closure Smiley)
I dont think i did pics right cause they turned out too small...hmm...ok fixed that!

Thanks BabyCakes8510,
I have noticed looking at the pics so many times that I think the cc section needs reinforcement between the layers like maybe the crossstitch plastic thingy I bought at michaels...I could slip it in then sew top seam or I suppose I could use cardboard or a stiff interfacing
This is my first try at a wallet so I'll get it right sooner or later Smiley

I love the idea of having the big zipper easily accessible, I use that most too. Good job! Smiley
