Bath & Beauty--Quarter 1, 2011 Featured Projects

Hey peeps! Here are the featured projects from the first quarter of this year. As usual they were chosen based on the "This Rocks" button and additional choices that I thought were amazing but maybe didn't get a lot of attention when they were first posted.

Every soapmaker is fearful that her soap will end up with DOS (dreaded orange spots). But clever Posey-Corner actually made DOS Soap on purpose! Cheesy

I Sew Cute made these lovely lip balms to assure that when her kids ate them, she at least knew what ingredients they were eating!

These marbled nails are fun for any occasion! Do them all the same color or each nail a different color, as N30Nb100d did!

We should know by now that  smittenheart is queen of the bubble bars. This one in particular is gorgeous and just imagining what these Blueberry cheesecake bubble bars smell like makes me drool a bit!

Ok, I have to admit that I haven't ever watched Dr Who, but these amazing Dr Who Nails by ShannonMB sure make me want to give it a try!

I am totally in love with RenDuH's henna work. This quarter she shared this beautiful post with us. I love the designs she made on Feet and Shoulders!

Didn't we have a holiday last quarter? These Valentine's Soaps made by vevevincy will make your heart melt a bit from sheer adorableness (is that a word??)

And what's a "best of" list without a little soap porn? Valledaisy may have only been soaping for a few months, but her Six Months of Soapin' Around post shows off some gorgeous soapies!

Thank you to everyone who shared projects on the Bath and Beauty Board last quarter! Keep hitting "This Rocks" when you see a project you love, it really does help all the mods decide which projects to feature out of all the amazing ones posted!

Can't stop giggling ... Soap Porn Cheesy I made it to SOAP PORN Cheesy I've had a lot of fun with soap. I read the feature listing and such out loud to my husband and he said 'leave it to you honey to be part of making soap dirty' ...

Love the henna project and can't wait to try something like Posey's Spots I'd been thinking about giving something like that a try this round of soap making and those look awesome. I'm inspired!

My daughter has the MARBLED NAILS bookmarked and has done it with several colors now. It's cool. She's going to do them cherry and Bordeaux for her end of school dance. She said I have to post pics on a reply for ya.

Several of those things look like something you'd want to pick up and eat. Love soap that looks so good you could eat Cheesy

Yeah the step up from soap porn is a soapgasm (ie, sending someone a giant box of soapy goodness in a swap). You haven't laughed until you see "soapgasm" on someone's swap wishlist Grin
