Since my partner has received this, I can share it. Smiley
I made this for my swap partner in the Fabric Lovers Scavenger Hunt swap.  She loves mermaids and I had just found this pattern online, so I had to make it for her.

She's sweet and the background fabric is just right.

She's so great. I love the fabric you used. It looks like she's swimming in an ocean.

Thank you, all, for the kind words. Smiley

I used a variegated thread for her hair and tail.  I like how it turned out on the tail.  I had fun with this and have another embroidery planned for another swap I am in.

Embroidery is kind of addicting.  Grin
