So Here is my package from Foxy Mama!  I feel like I should have made more her package was so awesome!

First there was this fantastic spining box and Candle holders that she hand painted!

Next she had sent some pyrate goodies!

Then this cute reusuable bag and awesome wallet.

(Sorry about the sideways picture.) Wink

She also sent some adorable key skull key covers whick the family instantly took off with for their keys LOL so this is a pic of the one that I put on my house key.

Then some fun tiki stuff, I especially love the ice cube trays!

But the Best was saved for last.  Inside this tin......

This stunning Bracelet/bib necklace!  (she sent a chain so it could be worn as a necklace)  I adore it!  I havent taken it off since I got it.  I like it as a bracelet because its so big and chunky!

This was a great swap and I couldn't have asked for a better partner,  Thank you so much.  and I'm glad you liked your package too.  Grin

I received from my partner, RetroGypsy, and I absolutely couldn't be happier!  I'm sure my pictures won't do her wonderful work justice but I've done my best . . .

So, first inside the box is a package wrapped with a festive red placemat held on by super cool skeleton ribbon

What was it concealing you ask?  Well . . . . prepare to be totally jealous, here it is -

The most adorable embroidery EVER (in my humble opinion!!) - here is a closer up picture -

What?  Amazingly beautiful?  I knooow . . . . could there possibly be more fabulousness?  Why yes there is ..... check this out -

a handpainted day of the dead skelly-gnome (with a wooden easel for display and a note on his sparkly giftbag letting me know the bag contains 'a little friend')- how much do I love this?  um ....... lots!
Surely, you say, this must be all, but you'd be wrong!  Another painting with easel, this time the lovely Frida Kahlo (my very favorite 'artista' - with a note 'she inspires')

...... and a print of postcard of my talented partner's art

.....even a beautiful card with many many pictures of her work

Thank you RetroGypsy for being such an amazing swap partner.  I'm very proud to have your work to display in my home!

even though our awesome swap leader is away on vacay, she managed to get a package out to me first...and I just rec'd it!!!!!

GASP. How awesome is she, you ask??? VERY!!!! I will have pics up tonight hopefully. I found my camera during the move (of course) so I have good pics of her stuff and am trying to get the pics of what I made for DeeDee off my cell and into the inter-ether. Smiley

I feel very lucky that she felt the need to angel me since my partner has taken unexpectedly ill and is in recovery for quite awhile. I hope you will all join me in sending her good wishes of speedy recovery!

I am loving all of the embroidery and paintings--those candlesticks are brilliant! I'll be pinning most of the images in this gallery for sure...

More awsome stuff.

That skeleton gnome cracks me up, just the way he's standing with his belt like that makes him look all sassy, love it!

Where did you find that awsome skeleton ribbon?

Where did you find that awsome skeleton ribbon?

I bought the skeleton ribbon around September at Michael's...they had it with the pre-Halloween stuff.  I should have bought more at the time.  I will definitely be on the lookout for more next year! Wink
