man you guys everything is AWESOME. That bird??? AHHHH...

and my poor partner, who is in the hospital, will not read this before she opens the package so it's not spoilery for her...but I also made one of those bottlecap frame things...although I put a mirror in my mine and aged the whole thing. That was the project I was collecting 'stuff' for forever!

I can't wait for my partner to get her package...her friend who is also on craftster is going to pick up her package and bring it to her to help cheer her up!

   I received from my partner yesterday!  I am unable to take and post photos, so I really hope she posts what she sent me and what she received from me.  But here goes a description of the items:

-A lovely little embroidered hoop of a DOTD skull in a desert setting
-A cool DOTD skull with a nifty hat, fork, and knife embroidered onto a dish towel
-The most intricate pair of clay DOTD skulls and marigolds I have ever seen!

Thank you so much partner!  I admire your embroidery and clay skills!

And all this talk of mexican food is making me sooooooo homesick for san diego. For a state that's so close to mexico, AZ has pathetic mexican food. I miss little dirty taco stands and talking my way into staying for dinner at my mexican friends' mom's house

i LOVE living in denver...all my friends know they can buy my love with mexican food.  just yesterday, my co-worker bought in breakfast burritos, and then, my boyfriend not know she had, brought breakfast burritos for the whole office...yeah...had to end up taking those home...been eating them since yesterday.  and my favorite mexican restaurant by my work has the BEST horchata.  we are pretty much infamous here for the BEST green chile on earth...anyone interested in having a chow-fest should come and visit.

so im away from the board for a few days and wowza are the packages are amazing!
anyways, i met up with honeyd today which was a ton of fun, and i was completely spoiled!!!my camera decided to be evil and have file errors every time i took a pic so i used my phone. sorry for the bad quality

@ erica, I understand totally about waiting, when you're ready, let me know. You got a co-organizer when you want one. My condolences on the green sauce.  Seems like once you hit the Texas border, green sauce takes on a whole new pathetic meaning.
@ lanikins, Colorado has really good green chile and pinto beans, but having lived in NM all my life, nothing compares to Hatch green chile.  Although, the best breakfast burrito I ever had was in Greeley.
@ Pixiefirefly, stuffys are the Bomb!!!!  Did you ever go to El Modelo when you lived here?  They are the absolute best.

I guess I may have to do some personal swaps to keep the chile addicts happy

mmm.... now having visions of a dish involving hatch chiles and vidalia onions...... i need to be alone....

yeah, i'm thinking maybe late summer early fall for another round of the ddm swap!!!
