My school doesn't have "prom..." Instead, we have "formal," which is like a mini version of prom with a dress code...1" straps, knee length dresses, nothing low cut...you get the idea. Well, I wanted something EPIC for my freshman year
So I decided on a draped bodice, a super colorful dress, and a hi-low pick-up skirt
I might just be insane...
And thus, this was birthed:
It took 4 days of nearly constant sewing
and 6 hours worth of Glee while sewing pick-ups in
I don't have a whole lot to ramble on about during this post like I normally do, so just sit back and relax
Our dresses :3 I made mine and the teal short one on the end for my friend
for the first time ever putting in an invisible zipper *without* an invisible zipper foot, I think it turned out pretty dandy
I lurve this draping (I promise it's not that wrinkled!!)
Me and my best friend, Jena, whose dress I whipped out in a day because she was telling me she couldn't afford a dress and wasn't going to go! D:
