Hello everyone.
I'm having a bit of crafters block. I wanted to make an Engagement gift for some friends. This is what I have so far.
I was first thinking to frame it in a fancy frame  but then I thought perhaps some kinda pillow or perhaps one of them small hanging pillow things (I'm sure I  have seen one of these somewhere)

Cute! I think you could make it into a little potpourri sachet Cheesy Make it into a square pillow, but leave the top edge open. Make another pillow slightly smaller (like a 1/8 inch off all sides), and stuff it with lavender, rosemary, lemongrass and whatever other smelly yumyums you can get. Then put the smaller one into the larger one, ladder-stitch up the top with two ends of a piece of ribbon at the corners, and voila!

I love the potpourri idea and it would be really simple. I made one for my mother-in-law years ago and see still has it on display in her bathroom.

Check it out! took your idea and made it real.
The back is a dark red fabric with black roses and the scent I used was "Clean linen" (love that scent)
