This room is being made ready for a 6 year old girl who loves fantasy.  So far we have the mural up.  Later there will be furnishings (made or redone by us) but those pics will be later.  On to the fun! *I forgot the first time around to mention it was myself and 4 other adults working on this for about 12 hours straight.  Everything was freehand, although some of it heavily influenced by art that we've seen.

The bedroom door, which is the beginning of the path to the castle:

The wall with the castle which shows a hint of the stone wall we painted all around:

Don Quixote and his Windmill:

Every little girl dreams of unicorns:

The pegasus is on the same wall as the unicorn, just separated by a closet door, which we aren't finished with yet.  He's next to the entry door.

The dragon, which is on the same wall as Don Quixote.  We thought it would be funny to have the dragon watch the poor knight attack the windmill.

That was three of the walls, there is one more, but it currently has stuff stacked up in front of it while we are finishing the closet door.  I will have more pics of the room complete once the flooring and furnishings are finished and in place.  The bright flowers, butterflies, mushrooms and fairies are foam stickers we let her decorate with.  Thanks for looking!

Wow, that's beautiful and rather amazing. You must have spent hours on the room.

This is awesome. If I was six again I would love to have this room.  Especially since I was very into unicorns at that age.  Smiley    I'm not very good at painting murals so I'm in awe of you (and your helpers) talents.  Smiley
