Hey folks, just wanted to post something that I've made - this mouse chalice I created it by throwing in in two parts the top and bottom then sticking them together with slip!

Wow, this is great.  There's something a little creepy about it--in a really good way.  I could imagine being surprised by it at the bottom of a bowl of soup, or something like that.  Smiley

Very lovely!  That little mouse is beautiful!
Rutile glaze? I have only ever used a rutile slip, but the glaze is very nice. Same variation in color that I get with the slip but it looks like it comes with a little less danger (I have had to chip pieces off of kiln shelves before). It reminds me a little of a glaze we use in our studio called "church lady white." How do you fire/what kind of kiln do you use?
