I fire all my pieces in an electric kiln, its all just down to the reative nature of the glaze. had a look on google to see if i could find your church lady white glaze but couldn't really see an example of it...

I tried mixing it up as a slip and it just wasn't thick enough. Thanks for your help!

Yeah, unfortunately we get really sloppy with the names of the glazes in the studio. Everyone just knows what we mean when we say "ramos blue" or "church lady white" Smiley
I will have to look up the recipe in the fall when I go back, or at least find out the "real" name of it. It is an AWESOME glaze.

I love the simpler in cermics. Cups, bowls, jars, those are my favorite ceramic objects and yours are very beautiful, hope I can restart with my ceramic soon
