I claim Oodelally for BBT coasters!

My name is Jessica, I'm 27 and I live in New York City, but I’m from West Virginia originally. One word to describe me is “comfortable”. I am girly – I love pink and I read Twilight and watch The Vampire Diaries, but I’m also vulgar, and sarcastic as hell. I can’t knit, crochet, or sew, so if you can please make me something awesome that I can’t make myself! My boyfriend John and I live together with our 3 cats in an apartment where a zombie Jesus piñata hangs in our living room corner, and a wall full of bookshelves is filled with all sorts of horror movies, from the really good to the really bad. I’m a big fan of anything quirky, I love musicals, and I rue the day Veronica Mars was canceled! I love zombies, Adult Swim, books and MUSIC and whimsies!
I'm only allergic to metal in piercings, so no earrings but rings and bracelets are welcome!

I claim yumjello for something for her hoopla wall
3/1/0 (3rd claim, 1 sent, 0 rec'd)
My name is Teresa. I live in Ga. with my wonderful hubby of 30 years and our two grown daughters ( who have both returned to the nest to finish their educations). I have a grown stepson and am Mimi to a 14 year old boy and 8 year old girl. We share our little homestead with a pet cow, mini donkey (he's something of a cute bully), three pygmy goats, and six cats.
I use swaps to collect OOAK gifts for my friends and family so my wist reflects quite a variety of tastes. Please read tags/notes carefully if you choose something wisty for color preferences, sizes, etc. I am completely okay with you taking something from my wist and making it in your favorite medium rather than the one pictured.
I really really want everything on my wist, but please do not claim me for a wisty surprise. I would rather you claim for something specific in case there are size/color specifications that you would need to be aware of. Thanks!
I can't tolerate the smell of smoke or lavender.
Crafts:
Anything off the following boards on my Pinterest (loving that Pinterest of mine!):
* Hooplas to make me happy
* Pincushions I want
* Crafty wishes
If you are inspired by any other board to make something for me, please run the idea by me first. I am trying hard to stay involved in Craftster swaps while at the same time not bringing anything into my home that I don't truly truly want. I watched my first episode of Hoarders recently and it scared me half to death
handmade blank note cards in any of these themes: bees, bugs, crayons, cute cats, cute mushrooms, colorful polka dots and/or stripes
Anything Arsenal themed... really, anything! (scarf, pillow, duffle, standing grocery bag, valance for single window, visor, reusable snack bags or lunch bag, bookmarks, etched glasses....)
Anything Atlanta Silverbacks (see above for ideas)
yoga pants in women's size 2. Any color, any style
beaded tree sculpture ( not jewelry) in amber/orange/brown (small, even tiny is fine)
cat tent, bed, or crinkle sack in one of these themes: Arsenal (huge wish!), skulls, old school
Star Wars
solid black scoodie in fleece with hood part lined in something silky so my hair won't get crazy. I would want silky inside solid black as well
sz. 2 blue and white polka dot swirly skirt ( for a 5' tall woman) ( simple is great, doesn't need to be super swirly, just have a bit of swish in it) My daughter has gained a tad around the middle so if you
choose this an elastic waist would be ideal, and that would probably make it simpler for you anyway... win, win! If you choose this, I can get you measurements.
sz. 51/2 mukluks with fake leather soles ( looking for a speed knitter )
An altered journal in a world geography theme. I know almost nothing on the subject and feel that it's time to do something about that. I intend to teach myself and since its such an extensive subject, it would need to be a kind of large journal/notebook. Please make sure the pages are really secure. I've rec'd a few handmade journals that I love but I have to be very careful because the pages aren't quite as secure as they could be.
A little sock monkey fan pull. I've never seen one but would love to have one for my daughter. I'm assuming it would ceramic or maybe poly clay? If the sock monkey were blue, it would be even better.
Wire earrings in swirls, knots, flowers. I like silver but not the super shiny stuff. Examples of earrings I like are on my wist. I'm not allergic to any metals, I actually used to wear thumbtacks in my ears in middle school
A "Bride" ball cap, visor, scarf, make-up bag, sunglass case, etc... in off white with deep purple or bright pink accents. Very girly bride so bling, bows, pearls, lace.... are fine.
Cat toys filled with your homegrown and dried catnip. My cats don't seem to love the store bought stuff but every time we get toys with homegrown in them, they fight over them.
If you choose something off my wist, please pm me first and let's discuss it. I still want most everything on there but most of it is there for gifts. I would want to make sure the size/color/? was right for the intended giftee. Thanks!
supplies:
Thread Heaven
silk embroidery floss ( I realize this is expensive so a teeny little package would be great!)
one of those needlework magnifiers that hang around the neck ( used is great)
wood-look plastic embroidery hoops, especially ovals
Biggest Supply Wish
wool felt ( scraps are fine, its for a penny rug) (I really want wool felt, not felted wool.. does that make sense?)
any Japanese craft book ( except crochet)
bias tape makers
sublime stitching transfers for hand embroidery ( monkey love, zombies, or vital organs) ( It's okay if you've used a couple of the patterns and just send me what you didn't use from the package)
transfer pens ( I love the ones with purple on one end and blue on the other, but any are fine)
buttons (esp. greens)
stabilizer for embroidery projects
Sharpies of any and every kind and color
fabric crayons ( a little used is fine)
fabric markers (new please)
yo-yo maker (I've been making them on my own for years, but I'm lazier than I used to be)
extras:
your favorite recipe ( gluten free or veg. is a plus but not necessary. We don't eat beef or pork but do sometimes eat chicken, turkey, and fish)
A photo ( hard copy please) of the courthouse in your town with town name on back.
vintage children's books
Bunny Suicide anything
cat toys/treats
gluten free treats ( people treats, not cat
)
Thank you so much for claiming me!

Im going to claim gamemom42 for a pincushion off her pinterest (one of the tufted round ones)
This is my fourth claim
One have been sent
One has been received
Hello there !!
Im Tammy. Im 39 and im married to a great man and mom to three handsome boys in Northern California. I moved here from OH and love it!! We just purchased our first home and are thrilled!! I like to sew, quilt. I am starting to get into embroidery and can crochet a little bit. Im very much into girly type stuff and love anything regency -titanic era. I also love 30s-40s things as well. I am allergic to nickel.
Here are my wishes
Anything off my wist list is great!!
Mediums (more can be found in my list Grin)
~~Jewelry (chokers, bracelets, earrings but please no nickel posts)
~~Aprons!! Even though I sew them I would love to see what others come up with!! I would also like two childrens apron (both are under 12yrs old) Transformers and Spiderman a plus!! (one claim at a time is fine needless to say Grin)
~~My MIL is a bingo fanatic!!! A bingo bag or a nice seat cushion would be great for a gift.
~~New purse I am in need of a large school bag/tote!! The strap on mine is starting to come loose.
~~Handwarmers like the ones offered at Hot Topic.com. Victorian Goth ones would be perfect.
~~Crazy Quilted Purse. Or any purse made by you!!
~~Regency or Victorian era Reticule
~~Petticoat (cotton or cotton blend please) either knee or ankle length with some fullness to it as I like poufy skirts !! I actually wear these a lot!! (Im 5'5 email for length) (received one from farmgirljane and would love more!!)
~~I would love some soft wool socks!! Size 7 feet
~~I have a weird obsession with knitted cuffs!! I love them!! Chocolate brown, red, white, mustard yellow.
~~ Anything that can help me decorate my Victorian inspired sewing room
Im also looking for a sign that says "Please no solicitors or religious groups" I have people of one kind or another knocking at my door constantly and it makes me rather uncomfortable. .
Crafted Items~~
KNITTED AND CROCHETED
I love this shawl and I am willing to wait longer if anyone will make it for me.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CivilWarShawlKAL/
Im not picky about color. Would be just happy to even have one.
I need some new wash cloths for dishes.
I would like a fairly large thick soft bathing washcloth for me.
These are pending!!! Thank you!!!
SEWN
**Civil War Era Cape called a Mathilde Mantilla (Think of a Civil War era Poncho. This is basically what it is) Here is a link to the pattern
http://www.uvm.edu/%7Ehag/godey/images/s5902170.jpg
and here is an example of what it looks like
http://www.thegracefullady.com/civilwargowns/ready-mades_silkmantle.htm
Measurements will be provided. Wool blend or Corduroy would be great. Hood is decorative and is not functional. It only uses around 3 yards. I would also prefer it lined for warmth. It would be great if I could retain the pattern as well for future projects. (I can sew I just cant figure out how to make it <frown>) without a pre-drafted pattern. OR If someone with any drafting skills wouldn’t mind drafting a pattern to my size I could play around with it and make my own (If I have a pattern to work with)
Primitive Raggedy Ann doll (An example is in my wists)
Victorian caplet. At least waist length please email for length.
Slat bonnet or corded can provide links if needed. Any pattern should do as they are all basically the same result.
I would love some embroidered handkerchiefs. Monogrammed with my initials would be nice too!!
Victorian slippers. This pattern is from 1864
http://www.victoriana.com/VictorianShoes/victorianslipperpattern.html
Im looking for special kind of apron for my husband. He cooks the eggs at breakfast time and is a ninjitsu martial artist. I would love an embroidered apron that has a ninja/martial artist holding a spatula in each hand and says "Egg Master" underneath. Fabric and colors are open as long as its durable and holds up.
Other Crafts~~~
Bars of handmade soap (the kind that is made from lye). Lavender, oatmeal, goats milk, citrus are great however any scents are welcome!! Or soap supplies/kit as I would love to learn how to make my own. Plain Pre-made soap bars that are ready to have scents, colors, herbs ect melted and added in are appreciated too as I have young children and am concerned with having lye in the house.
Room sprays, bubble baths (im looking for some really good foamy bubbles!!).
Bath bombs. Also jars of bath salts would be fantastic as well. Im good for now!! Thanks!!
Im looking for some scented oils. I would rather these be handmade or from specialty shops and not from stores like joanns or hobby lobby ect.
Hand crafted candles are great too. Prefer either fruit and or spice scented ones or lavender (only floral scented one I like). Im also interested in the scented candle chunks that you can melt and scent your house with. I have received some but always appreciate more!!
Whimsey jar are really fun!!
Im loving the moon jars!! Would love to have one!!
Im looking for a serving tray that I can bring snacks from the kitchen to the living room. Asian or Victorian influence a real plus. Ive seen some nice ones made from frames (glass removed)
Im also looking for a picture frame. about 1.5 inches or more wide/thick on the sides. What I would like is a thin wooden back fitted to it. I dont need the glass for it. An old vintage frame would be preferred for this. Im going to use it as a center piece tray for candles (if you can visualize it will lay flat on the table) I can take a pic of the pic in my book if you would like to see my inspiration.
Shower curtain. Victorian style please!!
My 18 year old loves Jack Skellington from the Nightmare before Christmas so anything with him on (appropriate for a guy) would be fantastic
Books that teaches drawing as well as an art kit of some kind put together would be great. My 12 year old loves to draw comic books!!

Hi! My name is Liz. I live in a tiny village in Souther Illinois called Iuka. I have 2 dogs, both dashounds and I live alone, no kids. I love the darker side of things, vampires, gothic, steampunk, faries. On the flipside of that I love silly things like rubber ducks, I have over 350 of them in my bathroom, garfields, domos, headgehogs and a strange obbsession with pin cusions. I want to live in the 50's. Love everything about that decade and collect just about anything from it. I love to read and history is fascinating to me. I know lots of pointless facts and enjoy reading trivia and fact books like uncle johns bathroom readers. I enjoy playing cards and card games like munchkins. Hello! I’m located in the United States. No allergies for me. Dear hubby has severe sinus issues but as long as things aren’t super perfumey or smokey then that’s fine. Anyways, about me. I’m the nerd of the whole family. I dress with my own sense of style. Think Harry Potter scarves, video game shirts, long boho skirts, knee high socks, & lots of tattoos. I’m the one at all the family gatherings either crocheting/reading or playing video games. I like anything Harry Potter, iguanas, guinea pigs, tattoos, the old 80’s cartoons, reading, 1950s styles, video games, owls, koi, dragons, phoenixs, gryffins, squid & pirates. I claim missmoppet for a zipper lap top sleeve and flour sack towels.
9 claims, 2 in transit, 6 received
Hello everyone! I'm TroubleT!
I live near Atlanta, GA. I'm a mother of 2 (one boy 10, one girl 5) and have a fantastic husband. I've been a high school Spanish teacher for 20 yrs and LOVE my job. I love jewel tone colors. I prefer clean, simple lines and designs over busy any day.
I embroider (a LOT), crochet, stencil, sew, and dabble in a few other craft mediums.
I have
lots of info about me
in my profile, my blog (
http://thetroublewithcrafting.blogspot.com/
- a specific page just for my swap buddies!), my wist (
http://www.wists.com/troublet
), and my pinterest (
http://pinterest.com/Troublet/
).
My Wishlist
~
MAJOR WISH ALERT!!!
I would love an over-sized cowl, large enough to be able to pull it up over my head. I've learned that I can't wear most hats due to my hair having serious problems with static during the winter (regardless of how much conditioner I use). A large cowl might work! Something around
this size
. I would be totally fine with chunkier yarn as I know it would work up faster.
~a set of crocheted hanging dish towels (in green, brown or cream) like these
http://www.etsy.com/listing/77704097/set-of-2-crochet-hanging-towels-plaid
~a set of coasters for my living room (colors are medium brown, cream with accents in olive green and rust), preferable something that won't entice the cat to turn them into toys, maybe the bottom could be something clingy like plastic shelf lining so it won't move easily
~a check book cover would be lovely!
~A super special pencil pouch for my daughter who starts kindergarten in just a few wks! *sob...sniffle*
~Wall art in your favorite medium for my living room or kitchen
~Embroidery for my Hoopla Wall or my Daughter's mini hoopla wall (contact me for color schemes!)
~Stenciled t-shirts for me (adult large, prefer men's style shirt w/o a pocket, cap sleeves look horrible on me). My husband has declared that I NEED new ones. LOL
~an altered zip up hoodie - an OM would be fantastic!
~a hanging earring holder that matches my bedroom or bathroom
~heavy duty pot holders - we cook a LOT with cast iron so it needs to be well padded.
~a decorated ceramic coffee mug with teacher humor on it (PLEASE! No apples!)
~crocheted/knitted socks or slippers for me! size 7.5 US[/s]
Thanks luckdragon!
~a full kitchen apron w/ pockets for me - I'm a shorty so ask me for measurements!
~draft dodgers - Functional more than decorative would be nice (my cat might try to turn it into a toy...) and I don't mind filling it myself. I just never get around to making these.
HOLIDAY GIFTS
- Yes, I do think this far ahead. Being a teacher, it's a survival tactic since December means mid term exams on top of the normal holiday crazy.
~handmade Christmas ornaments - I love quirky, comical ornaments. Nothing religious please.
~handmade Christmas cards would be fantastic!
~a tv remote caddy for my DH's recliner (it's a medium brown with bits of darker brown highlights)
~a set of quilted (or just pieced) pillow covers done in dark "turkey" red and cream for my mom. (I will gladly fill the covers.)
~Snowmen stuffies for decorating my house. I usually try to get a couple of new ones every year and a hand made one would be super special!
Wishlist for my classroom
- My students get a kick out of the handmade items that I have in my room!
~Artwork or Hoopla for my classroom - Lots of possibilities here! I already have a tiny flamenco dancer hoop and an Aztec sun god hoop.
~a set of decorated clothes pins for my Star board (I use this board to brag on my students for non-academic successes so it's covered with newspaper clippings of Star Athlete of the Week, examples of their drawings/artwork, etc.
)
~a stenciled or bleach resist t-shirt for me with my school’s team on it (Link can be provided that will give you inspiration)
Craft Supplies that will always make me smile
embroidery floss - I prefer cotton or silk. That rayon stuff is the devil!
Wooden embroidery hoops - any size or shape
Buttons!
pretty quilt fabric bits (under 1/4 yd is fine) - I want to make some mini wall art quilts.
Zippers- any color or length, reclaimed is fine with me. I've just learned to set zippers so I want to experiment.
Other cool non-crafted things I like
:
Your favorite slow cooker recipes! (chicken or pork preferable, we’re cutting back on red meat.)
herbal teas- My fave teas are mint, berry zinger and chai but I drink it all.
cool ink pens for work - I actually like to grade papers in something other than the evil red.
fine point sharpies
dark chocolate - 70%-80% dark is my range
cat nip toys for my furchild
Thank you for choosing me!

I will claim Trouble T again for a stenciled tee, a snowman for her house, and some other things
6/2/4
Hello all, I am Monica My Birthday is tomorrow Aug 2
Most of you know that however LOL. I am a really strong lady I have learned who just is a bull by the horn girl. I am really blessed to have great friends here as my DH says My BFF in the box
I have to say I am trying to convert my home to as much homemade craftiness as I can it makes me happy. I love so many things and my home is so fun and different in each room really. I am a surfer type ocean girl (I will be on a board again when I get my knee replaced. We live at the beach on the Crystal Coast the last bank of the famed Outer Banks of North Carolina. I love pink and girly but some edgy too. I am an ride it fast kind of girl. I drive my motorcycle year round. I love to ride and love the ocean. We are teaching the kids to ride horses and Atlanta to surf, how fun. She is a beach bum really they both are. They love to fish and hunt ( shhhh she sits in the woods with me and looks at the animals) only time she shuts up LOL...
I am into clean lines I guess as to messy, I can’t stand things looking cluttered or things that are tossed together looking in my house, hair etc everything is just right before we leave the house LOL Odd I know makeup to the beach and even hunting..Odd ball huh....
We have 2 beautiful grandkids that my DH and I are raising.
Atlanta is a fun 6 year old. Smart beyond her years when it comes to witty and artistic and then Houston is 3. He is a sweet boy who loves his "LOLLY" that's me..I am their Lolly. (I am too young and fun to be called grandma). He is a special child that was blessed to have taught us so much compassion and love. He has Autism and cant for some odd reason deal with Kelly/Crayon green...not in M&M's or Lego's nothing at all....He hates to shop but loves to help carry in the bags and cries if he does not feel like he is being helpful
I always have a bag to carry in. They both love to garden. He is so happy there and at the beach. The only places I think he is like everyone else and his brain is at peace
We have some Allergies in the house...Atlanta has a lung illness like asthma. She cant be around the sticky tar stuff from cigarettes. If you smoke inside pass on claiming us. If you smoke outdoors make sure to please wash your hands and supplies well to not have issues.
I have a huge pintrest 700 or so items if there is something there you want to make that is not on the list here shoot me a PM I am sure I want it LOL!! Please not anything from the kids pins OR the Wizard of Oz w/o asking first as I am in a WoOZ swap that is why it is there...BUT THE Gingham dress with the ruby red would be great for miss priss that is the only thing from the 2 I want now
