I wasn't really sure where to put this.  I definitely don't consider it art, but it was fun to do!  So there's a backstory to this ridiculousness:  So first, I fell in love with this blogpost http://hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com/2010/06/this-is-why-ill-never-be-adult.html  then I fell in love with this hoop http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=384091.0.  Well, while I was showing that hoop to my friend and laughing at its awesomeness, he was making fun of me for being on an internet dating site and he said that if I did something it should say Date all the boys!

Fast forward a month or so, my friends and I decide to have a painting party.  There's this trend here in Houston with these places called Pinot's Palette where it's a BYOB painting class.  So we decided to have our own at home.  So we drank margaritas and painted and had a blast!  None of us had ever painted before, but we can not wait to do it again!

So I made this for one of my friends who was also there, who had also just joined a dating site, and who really really loves her wine.  The best part is, there's actually a picture of her on her facebook that looks kind of like this.

Also, she's been using Latisse, so her eyelashes are super long now, so I glued some falsies to the painting.  Just because I thought it was funny.

It made everyone at the party smile and I hope you enjoy it, too!

ok first of all hyperbole and a half is the best thing since calvin and hobbes!  It sucks that she hasn't put out anything new in awhie, but I guess that's because of the book she's writing.  Also, my sister Kendra lives in Spring and she goes to that Pinot's Pallete all the time!  She introduced me to both HAAH, and PP.  I live in NY right now, so I haven't made it to Pinot's but I love your idea of having a painting party at home, plus I LOVE your finished piece!!!!!
