LOL What do you know... that extra package did arrive today. XD

So my awesome partner sent me a tiny little pouch of tiny little tarot cards for my dollhouse project (or one of my not-a-Barbie-anymore's in progress)... So cute. And tiny. It's a whole set. My kitty, Parsa, thought it might be a mousie. It's only a bit smaller than her toys, you see. Usually we play fetch with her mousies, so she'll bring them to me in bed hoping I'll play with her. She brought the pouch to me while I was napping and spread the tiny cards out next to me. I didn't notice until after seeing the pouch was missing from my desk. Panicked. Brat cat. lol If I'd been thinking in the midst of being relieved to find them, I might have attempted to read Parsa's little spread. Silly me to think of it later. It might have been the answer to all my problems, and I missed it.

There was also a Newfoundland sticker, tiny tassles, some lace, a little bottle of pearls, and it was all wrapped up in some fabric and ribbon. Love love! All of it is awesome stuff I can use in projects I'm working on! Badpuppy is psychic!

I can't wait to see what else she's made!

I'll post photos tomorrow, since it's getting late and I'm feeling all squirrelly and exhausted. I'm hiding this stuff until I grab the camera tomorrow!

Yay, I'm glad at least part of it arrived safely!

Ha, and I have similar problems with my dog.  Anything that is soft and vaguely toy-sized he assumes is for him.

Dogs are good like that Smiley

I do some historical costuming. Once upon a time I had just finished putting on a bunch of trim onto a late Italian Renaissance outfit, when I realized that I couldn't find the codpiece. But it couldn't have gone far... it was here a minute ago. Then I noticed my sleeping corgi, with his little head propped up on what was clearly, to him, a perfect little pillow I had made just for that purpose.

So excited! I got the most beautiful Gypsy package from Badpuppy. We couldn't manage to keep it to 'one tiny' anything. lol Such a great partner, she really spoiled me!

In this terrible photo you will see a the lovely polka dot fabric she sent (one cotton and one semi-sheer, some ribbon and lace, a beautifully hand-painted box where I've stashed everything so the cats can't get at it, a zip bag of shells and coins for sewing onto my future bellydance outfit ( Wink ), several bottles of tiny supplies, a gorgeous necklace I plan to wear to work on Monday, and a wristcuff that I really love! I will have to move the buttons a bit, but thank you for accommodating that in the design! I have huge hands and my wrists match. Right in the middle is the teeny pouch of tarot cards that my kitty stole and brought to bed. Just above that are 3 miniature tassles for my dollies.

She also sent me a few little souvenirs to put with my stepdad's xmas gift (I'm making him a little boat shelf with Newfie things on it). So there's a fishing boat, a captain, a lighthouse and a little bottle of Newfie sand. Oh, and in the envelope is a sticker I forgot to pull out.

Thank you for spoiling me to bits! I can't wait to wear my cuff and necklace! And I know you'll be proud to hear I've been checking out bellydance books and videos at the library so I can practice at home.  Grin

Sorry the photography sucks. It's been raining all day and I live in a dungeon so the lighting is really bad even with every light in the place turned on. I'll see if I can get some better shots. It seems to rain every time I go to the post office. Weird.

Yay, it arrived!!  So glad you like everything.  Re: the bracelet... I have unnaturally tiny wrists, so it's hard for me to estimate the size of other peoples.

Now I am very impatiently awaiting my package.  I even called the post office this morning to see if it was there and maybe I had missed the tag, but no luck. Sad  It generally takes *forever* for stuff to get to me though.

P.S. The cuff and pendant have their own thread if you want to see my photos before I send them.  Smiley

I received from Icekibby a while ago, but have failed at posting photos in a timely matter!  Sorry everyone!  I'm packing up to move across the country, and it's been chaos around here.

I did manage to snap some photos of her wonderful stuffs before repacking them for their journey to our new home.

First, this wonderful caravan notebook!  Isn't it so sweet?  Perfect for the woman about to pack all her belongings into her car and drive across Canada. Smiley

All the pages are decorated.  I love it.  I don't have the patience for papercrafts like this, so I really appreciate having something like this!

Item #2: beautiful gypsy ATC!  Lovelyness!

And speaking of lovelynesses that I don't have the patience or skill for, Icekibby sent me the AMAZING, painted paper doll.  ICEKIBBY I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!!  She is full jointed and poseable. She's bases on Rajastani gypsies that I mentioned in my questionnaire, but with some belly dance fusion style.

Have I mentioned that I love her?  Icekibby is super talented!  I am going to frame her and display her proudly!

Plus, I got some lovely, sparkly extras.  I already have plans for the fringe and some of the red beads in the bag.

Thank you SO SO much Icekibby!  This has been a wonderful swap!
