After I have just made the Trashy-Bracelet-Tutorial http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=380412.0, I still could not keep away from the sewing machine.

So I just sewed a couple of bracelets. This time not so trashy. For these bands I have always taken only one fabric and double layered it. Put the rubber band in between.  Just like a sandwich. Then add a few buttons, done.

These are awesome. I saw the trashy one and thought it was neat, but wondered if having hte stitched elastic might be a bit rough on the skin when worn. Double layering the fabric takes care of that! I might have a go at making one. IT woudl be a quick easy thing to make and put in as a extra in swaps.

Thanks for the idea!
