Can anyone suggest an embroidery stitch to resemble snakeskin? I am going to use a single color, gold or silver. Thanks for any suggestions you can give me.

You could use a wider daisy chain stitch and keep them close together. Maybe a bunch of chain stitches in a row?

Thanks for the suggestion. I hadn't thought about that. Using that stitch, I could even varigate the color slightly. I will give it a try.

Hey Kittykill, I used your suggestion for the snakes on my "The Neverending Story" pillow cover for the Pillow Cover Swap and it turned out just as I wanted. Thanks again.
