So I'm really new to sewing and I swear that I saw this pattern already posted somewhere in here but I can't find it for the life of me! I just wanted to show off what I made and feel proud :0)

This is McCalls Easy 6264 and it's made from a rayon jersey knit.  The fabric was a little tricky to sew because it stretched so easily, but it turned out great and made for a very comfy, nicely draping dress.  I followed all the directions exactly except for the portion on the bottom hem.  I couldn't quite figure out what they wanted me to do so I winged it!  I folded in an inch of fabric, basted a quarter inch from the fold and also basted a quarter inch from the top raw edge, then I top stitched on top of the top basting.

Full length, sorry for the messy bathroom

Upclose of the front, to show the elastic gathered area at the waist.

Thank you all for the kind words :0)

I found it at Walmart stuffed under a pile of utterly boring ugly polyesters.

I'm not surprised that you are proud.
It fits really well, and the choice of material really suits the pattern as well. x
