wow.. glad that week's over... anyhow here we go... later than advertised... the big box of awesome I got from Azura..

First off it's worth mentioning that everything came beautifully packaged on a big checked shoe box, and every individual item was in resealable plastic bags (I love resealable plastic bags! SO useful!). Each item also had it's own little descriptive card. A great touch! it really made me feel like I was 'discovering' the package piece by piece... fantastic work Azura!!

First off, a lovely les paul keychain! Les Pauls are my favourite guitar shape, and this is going to come in really handy as up til now I've had my keys on a lanyard with my work keys, but since I'm on maternity leave as of ... today ... I'm going to have to seperate my work/home keys - good call!

DIO bag! I'm going to see Dio Disciples on 17th June, so this bag will be GREAT for that! :-) I love the (machine?) embroidery. The sewing machine skills here are impeccable, lovely clean lines and curves, and I LOVE the lining fabic!!

ADORABLE Nathan Explosion heat pack! I've never been one for heat packs, but since I can't take painkillers at the moment, heatpacks and hot water bottles have really come in handy for those pregnancy aches and pains, who knows, I may even use this for my early labour pains :-) I  love the grumpy little guy!!

Thankyou Azura, excellent first time swapper package, really glad you joined the swap!!

wow, it looked so neat I thought it was done my machine, then I thought it would take some mad machine embroidery skills to pull that one off! backstitch is fantastic, 99% of all my embroidery is backstitch. :-)

So apparently ilovesnails is having some computer issues, so here's what I sent her.

AC/DC etched glass cup.

U2 crochet hook roll.

A tote based off album artwork from a Trews single.

I also sent a couple little monster stuffies for her kids but I didn't get pictures of them for some reason.

Thanks LadyRiot  Grin

I really love that crochet hook roll (I love crafty craft swap items) and the glasses are FANTASTIC (but I've got BIG love for AC/DC!)

I got my awesome swag from Rainbowendings today! The attention to detail with the stuff I liked was amazing.

First up, coasters with lyrics to my favourite songs. And a Tool one for the boyfriend (he says thanks!).

Bottle cap pins! So many cool things!

Ticket stub box, which I've already put into use. Boyfriend also says thanks because he keeps finding my ticket stubs everywhere.

Metal emergency bag. I am ready to rock out in a big way. I love the lining fabric and the tiny secret pocket. This will get a lot of use. Thank you! Cheesy

And today I learned there is an active stratovolcano in Washington, thanks to the Mt St Helens clip. Wink

There were also some whatchamacallit chocolate bars, which have mysteriously disappeared...
Thank you so much, I feel incredibly spoiled. You're a great swap partner!

I'm pretty sure my partner has got her parcel by now, here's a peek at the stuff I sent on in our round robin group.

My partner is much smaller than me, so just pretend if you will that the tops actually fit my dress form Tongue
The band names are done with freezer paper stencils. My first attempt! Nailed it!
The tops are all made from scratch, some recycled material.

Whoops, sorry about the mega-post. Thanks for a great swap everyone! \m/
